A’DAM LOOKOUT

Special discount with a symposium pass

A’DAM LOOKOUT is an observation deck with a panoramic view of Amsterdam. You’ll see the city’s historical centre, its port, the unique Dutch landscape and you’ll spot the famous canals.
Complementing the experience is a state-of-the-art interactive exhibition about Amsterdam’s history and culture.

If you have a symposium pass A’DAM LOOKOUT offers you a discount. Here are the details.

When
During the week of the International Urban Sketchers Symposium:
Monday, July 22 through Sunday, July 28, 2019.
Accessible daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you cannot go up after 9 p.m.

Where
A’DAM LOOKOUT, Overhoeksplein 5, Amsterdam.

Offer
During this period urban sketchers with a symposium pass can enter for a reduced price to A’DAM LOOKOUT. By showing your symposium pass you only pay € 7.50 instead of the normal price of € 13.50.
That is excluding a Swing Ticket.

How to get there
Go to the rear of the central station, walk to the left (towards Haarlem) and take the free ferry to Buiksloterweg (every 5 minutes) at the end of the station. Walk to the left, across the bridge and report to the reception.

What you can do
You can draw (inside) in the restaurant as long as you do not get in the way of other guests. It is handy if you bring your own stool, then you can sit close to the glass window. You can also go up one floor and draw outside on the deck. If you bring your own food, do not eat it in the restaurant, but outside on the deck.

What to see
A spectacular view of Amsterdam and the surrounding area. In clear weather you can see Utrecht and Almere on the left, and you can see to IJmuiden on the right.
