Laat je verrassen! Rene Fijten neemt je mee en laat je interessante schetsplekken van Maastricht zien. Wat je gaat zien is een geheim.  Wij zijn benieuwd wat je gaat schetsen. Bij je inschrijving kun je aangeven of je mee doet aan één van de twee Secrets Sketchtours. Het aantal plaatsen is beperkt.

Be surprised! Rene Fijten will take you on a stroll and shows you interesting sketch spots of Maastricht. What you are going to see is a secret.  We are curious what you will sketch. You can indicate if you want to participate in one of the two Secrets Sketchtours at registration of your ticket. The number of places are limited.

Deze is wel erg exclusief: Mathy Engelen neemt je op zaterdag mee in het Carillontorentje van het Stadhuis. Wie weet wordt het carillon wel bespeeld! Er zijn een beperkt aantal plaatsen beschikbaar. Je moet goed ter been zijn. Er is geen lift.

This one is very exclusive: On Saturday, Mathy Engelen will take you into the Carillon Tower of the Town Hall. Who knows, the carillon might even be played! There are a limited number of places available. You need to be able to walk. There is no elevator or lift.

Naast het maken van haar werk is het overdragen van kennis een grote passie van Julia.

Op uitnodiging van Winsor & Newton zal zij tijdens het Nationale Sketch Weekend op zaterdag  2 juli aanwezig zijn in de winkel van Gerstaecker om haar kennis met jou te delen op het gebied van technieken en materialen die van pas komen bij urban Sketching.

Julia demonstreert materialen als aquarel, gouache, penselen, potloden en fineliners, je krijgt tips & tricks en er is de mogelijkheid om zelf diverse materialen uit te proberen.

Kom gezellig langs, verrijk jouw kennis , laat je inspireren en stel al jouw vragen aan Julia.

Winsor & Newton is samen met Gerstaecker hoofdsponsor van Urban Sketchers Nederland en zal met hun Resident Artist Robert Rost (@rostrobert) aanwezig zijn op Nationale Sketch Weekend op zondag 3 juli in de winkel van Gerstaecker.

Hij zal er die dag zijn om op verzoek diverse materialen te demonstreren en al jouw vragen te beantwoorden.  Robert kent als geen ander de ins en outs van het portfolio van Winsor & Newton en vertelt jou ook graag over de diverse toepassingen en technische aspecten die jou kunnen helpen jouw materialen beter te begrijpen.

Tevens is er de mogelijkheid om zelf materialen uit te proberen en zal Robert de gloednieuwe Cotman Metallic Watercolour van Winsor & Newton aan jou laten zien!

Besides creating her work, passing on knowledge is a great passion of Julia.

Invited by Winsor & Newton, she will be present in the Gerstaecker store during the National Sketch Weekend on Saturday 2nd July to share her knowledge about techniques and materials that are useful for urban sketching.

Julia will demonstrate materials like watercolour, gouache, brushes, pencils and fineliners, she will give you tips & tricks and you will have the opportunity to try out several materials yourself.   

Come along, enrich your knowledge, get inspired and ask Julia all your questions.
